Bright Idea Award
The Bright Idea Award is a celebration of an idea that other Professional Development colleagues are eager to replicate. It can be an event, a workshop, a promising practice, a physical space design, a creative use of technology, a communication strategy, a unique approach to a challenge. Recognize an idea from which we can all learn!
Awesome Award
The AWESOME Award is a loud, emphatic shout-out for something tremendous that was accomplished. It is a recognition of the awe-inspiring efforts of an individual, team, department, or collaborators. It may be something big or (seemingly) small. It’s all about the effort - if it blew you away, recognize it!
Measurable Impact Award
The Measurable Impact Award is a recognition of efforts that made a measurable, positive change or a way you used data to inform practice or drive change. This might be awarded to a program, committee, initiative, or team. We know that numbers tell a story. If you have data that shows that a positive impact was made, we want to celebrate it!
Campus Climate Change
The Campus Climate Change Award honors a college or district who has successfully shifted campus/district (metaphorical) climate (not Earth’s climate). The shifts may be as a result of individuals, leaders, workshops, initiatives, committees, etc. The impact can be related to students, Classified, Faculty, Administrators or all of the above. If campus climate improved, this college/district deserves a commendation.
Possibility Partners Award
The Possibility Partners award recognizes a successful collaborative effort. Working together is powerful - and it takes initiative and intentionality. Recognize individuals, teams, committees, colleges or districts who came together and it resulted in something special. Collaboration deserves celebration!
